The night Trump had his rally in Madison Square the volunteer DJ for NYU's college radio played nothing but Future Funk, and the night I arrived the same DJ played nothing but Vocaloid remixes.

The best thing about the college radio stations around the greater New York area is their volunteer DJs have differing but distinct tastes in music, so you get a dose of something new (or familiar) every night.
We were driving on the I-95 one night and some DJ using text to speech was playing the VR Missions theme from Metal Gear Ghost Babel, around 11:00 PM, these kids go crazy man.

@harbeau@gearlandia.haus @intrax@poa.st Isn't that generally true in any place with serious colleges and universities ?
I frequently listened to my college radio station ~1980-82 and it had the same sort of thing, I remember regular programs of Jamaican music was which at least sometimes OK or maybe good, and strangest of all, dot Indian movie music.
Which satisfied my "came of musical age in the 1970s of ___disco!!!___"
criteria that if you can dance to it, it's probably good.
