I always advocate for a beautiful church and buildings in general. But this kind of interior will always reminds me of the purity of worshiping God when Christians just started, I'm sure the essence stayed the same.

You see these in a lot of protestant denominations, especially in the southern US if they're not near a river or the river is too polluted to use for baptism. Usually saw it behind the pulpit, though, rather than in the middle of the church.
