@mushroom_soup@kiwifarms.cc What is with witches in this day and age believing they are serious business instead of a laughingstock?

@mushroom_soup@kiwifarms.cc ok so
are they concerned that the cat is going to learn something catkind wasn't meant to know?
or like it'll get possessed by some demon that'll just end up being lazy and crapping in a sandbox?
What exactly is the concern for the cat here.

@shebang@freespeech.group @mushroom_soup@kiwifarms.cc Haven't you heard of how much devastation housecats wreak on ecosystems? They kill something like 20 million birds per year. And that's with their owners keeping them inside sometimes, and limited by their mortal forms. What do you think's going to happen if they learn how to magically enhance themselves? Or even worse, if they learn the secrets to astral projection? You could have hundreds of millions or maybe even BILLIONS of ghosts being killed, every single year.

@Morghur@kiwifarms.cc witchcraft lets boring millennial women feel sPeCiAl and pOWeRfUl in a way christianity doesn't. I would know, I'm a 30 year old white woman with a collection of tarot decks (I don't believe they're magical though).
