i didnt know this but my brakes hold extremely well when i press them on their own with the left foot for example but if i hold the clutch and then do it they're not really all that good

@meso@the.asbestos.cafe @condret@shitposter.world when you press the clutch, you decouple the engine from the gearbox, therefore there's nothing slowing down the gearbox, so you're basically putting more strain on the brakes cuz you're not also engine braking, holding down the clutch while braking is more for high speed braking where you actually need to preserve speed without losing your line
