Disney has a very weak slate. No Inside Out 2s or Deadpool & Wolverines.
They're dumping Captain Nigmerica in February, a sign of total loss of confidence.
If everything bombs watch for them to bring Mandalorian and Grogu forward for a Christmas 2025 release.

Supposedly Captain Amerikwa’s budget has ballooned to well over $400 mil, which makes sense considering all the reshoots

Tom Cruise did it for less than $200 million.
Robert Eggers did it for less than $100 million.

It is curious how few independent projects there are (or go anywhere?) while entry to production and distribution costs have become more and more accessible

People used to make it because they loved it, more culture rot i suppose

The business is locked down by the kike unions. You can only get in via social engineering and luck. It is to Hollywood's advantage to keep the budget of films over $10 million, this thins out the competition considerably.

Just from a couple of people I know who were seriously considering working in the entertainment industry, and attending the first couple of years of a college dedicated to the field, they got out because of the political environment and very clear woke agenda. There simply wasn't a future in it for them.
I wonder how many talented /our people have had that route cut off because of this?
Same number as skilled machinists, mathematicians, scientists and engineers.

@SuhDude@poa.st @caekislove@caekis.love @judgedread@poa.st There are a lot of smaller productions, as it is the only place to find them is in the sea of shit on Youtube or like Sci-fi which feels like a channel single handedly keeping the B sci-fi movie genre alive though.
