@mischievoustomato@tsundere.love It's true, I don't hold the term in the same regard as "anime", as JRPG already have Japanese in the name anyways, I usually just say a western JRPG, but in the end, most JRPG are still made in Japan and the rest are exceptions pretty much But this is total news slop indeed

JRPG is a genre style customarily developed by the Japanese but it's not exclusive to them, it would be like saying Westerners can't develop danmaku shooting games or Japanese can't develop WRPGs which both can and obviously do.
