Tradthots also tend to gravitate towards servers like NCD or poast. People assume I'm trans because I have a c.s and sysadmin background. It would make them feel a lot better to believe that I majored in humanities because of my political beliefs. I noticed that just about every single server run by a woman, was actually set up by a man, usually their boyfriends. There are a few women on here who have set up their own personal or single user instances, but they aren't the norm. Mastodon also has more normie women on the professional or academia focused instances.
