i really like the idea of electric vehicles in theory but for the life of me i don't understand why they have to be like fucking iphones. they should literally never brick themselves under any circumstance.

The problem for the electric car is really the time it takes to fuel. How many "stations" would you need to install to serve everyone? Far more than gas. It takes 10 minutes tops to fill up a tank, but way longer for a battery.
