I'm fine with this, if Western media wants to adapt Anime then Anime should adapt Western media works too.

@hfaust@shitposter.world The 1979 Anne of Green Gables anime is rather well-known in and outside Japan. People don't have a problem with cross-culture adaptations, like John Sturges adapting Akira Kurosawa's Seven Samurai or Kurosawa adapting Shakespeare's King Lear. It's when those adaptations are done poorly, especially deliberately for quick capital, that annoys and angers people, like the recent spat of HollyJew slop.
