And if you dont tone it down you quickly develop a reputation of being an obnoxious crackhead and people can just mute you. Additionally Fedi's limited anonymity is actually perfect for making sure half the shit i see isnt demoralizing israeli propaganda.

Can't favor hashtags, actually because pleromers search function over federation sucks. Can't pretend to be somebody else, because most people here have alts with exactly the same handle in case the home instance goes tits up.

I think there are some people here we can name on the fedi that this has happened to; where they gained a reputation for being radioactive and turning everything to shit.
