@Hoss@shitpost.cloud @anime_outdoor@poa.st You know it's a podcast because they are using the SM7B What do you bet they don't have a big enough preamp to bring it to unity?

Haha yeah, no doubt.
@Hoss@shitpost.cloud @anime_outdoor@poa.st The SM7B is the meme podcast mic, but everyone is retarded and doesn't know that the focusrite preamp (that everybody gets) doesn't push enough power to properly power the damn thing so everyone's sm7b sounds like trash instead of having the rich sound the mic is actually known for and is the reason everyone recommends it. Jewtubers and (((podcasters))) don't know how to google long enough to learn this literal only piece of audio engineering information that they need to know, and so you have lots of SM7Bs out in the wild that were a total waste of money because they paid the premium but are too stupid to get the premium quality audio out of the thing. Sorry, you activated my trap card.

I just know the Shure mics are really good but most people don't need them. Like buying a Ferrari when all you use your car for is going to the grocery store.
@Hoss@shitpost.cloud @anime_outdoor@poa.st I mean everyone can (and imo should) have great audio, but they buy tools they don't know how to use and then complain they don't work, or look amateurish in uniquely annoying ways. Bad audio is a faux pas in every setting except calling people slurs in voice chat, but even then, wouldn't it be better if you had rich, buttery smooth, resonant audio as you called that faggot out for being a fucking nigger?

I'm irritated by the podcast mic thing, because it got all the corporate boomers to throw away their blue yetis for "better" equipment that isn't set up right. For all its faults, the yeti and its lookalikes were simple USB mics with self-explanatory knobs, headphone jacks, little LED maps of the pattern Chances are just a little better it will give servicable audio on a zoom call....while their Shure is just sitting there in a creaky $12 arm mount picking up every little bonk and thump

@Hoss@shitpost.cloud @anime_outdoor@poa.st To be fair I largely already live under a rock of sorts. The Hawk Tuah lady has never blipped on my radar for more then the times you guys have posted about her.

Much like Andrew Tate, everything I've learned about her was forced upon me against my will.
[email protected] @anime_outdoor@poa.st @Hoss@shitpost.cloud I ain't watching that, have a nice day.
