I like the #Soapbox UI/UX better than PleromaFE, so it's a real shame that it's developed by truscum and used mostly by 🥶 🍑 instances. Do you think if I forked it that could ease some of the tension?

@io@csdisaster.club That's the biggest challenge with trying to improve on these technologies. So much development time and effort goes into the original project, that to maintain and even improve on it as a fork you'd have a lot of work to do.

io - https://csdisaster.club/users/io i know how does one strike on something that can be used by anyone for any purpose. only people you'll convince is people who already aren't using it, ie are already "striking". and what are the goals? getting alex gleason to step down? getting the free speech instances to stop using soapboxfe? it doesn't make sense. you like the software, it's free software, why not use it.
