@tk@bbs.kawa-kun.com The first and second tied. PS3 and later don't captivate my interest except as vessels to run M2 ports. That being said, I'm always much more of a Sega/Microsoft fangirl at the end of the day.

@allison@blob.cat @tk@bbs.kawa-kun.com the most interesting thing about the ps3 was how the US was able to jumble like 20000 of them into a single computer

@meeper@outerheaven.club @tk@bbs.kawa-kun.com Oh the PS3 was really awesome hardware-wise, it just didn't have games :^)

@tk@bbs.kawa-kun.com its the abundance of software in 1+2 that has me the most intrigued. so many possible worlds. so many stories. and i don't know any of them

@allison@blob.cat @meeper@outerheaven.club @tk@bbs.kawa-kun.com It had potential hardware-wise, at the time (late 2000s). But it was very complicated to develop games for it.

@tk@bbs.kawa-kun.com honestly this carries forward to most of my video game opinions — the cost of development leads to more boring and uniform conditions, if it's easy to get going and anyone can do it then there's so much oddball crap. app stores have killed the future's salvage

@tk@bbs.kawa-kun.com The fifth generation of consoles is my favorite, by far. So I'll take the first playstation any time. PS3 second favorite. And PS2 third. 4 was just a cheap gaming computer. And 5 is a not so cheap gaming computer that is hard to obtain on top of being not cheap. It's pretty early to judge it though, considering the lack of supply for PS5s and it being in such an early stage.

@am@decept.org @tk@bbs.kawa-kun.com I feel like people have just lost sight of what makes games tick anymore.
